I Have Never Met Ex-President Kufour – Boakye Gyan

A Leading and founding member of National Democratic Congress (NDC), Major (rtd) Boakye Gyan says  he has never met former President John Agyakum Kufour both in his private and public lives before.

 "Let me tell you a secret most people do not know. Will you believe that I have never met President Kufour in my life?", the ex-service man revealed.

 "You can go and ask him if he has also met me", Major Boakye Gyan stated adding there is nothing wrong with not being in talking terms with the founder  of the NDC,  former President Jerry Rawlings.

According to Major Boakye Gyan, though he has nothing personal against Mr. Rawlings as founder and former head of state, he has chosen not to talk to him for personal reasons.

 "The relationship between me and him [Jerry John Rawlings] is like a divorce marriage. ...some people will like to call each other after divorce so they may come together to remarry".

"All I am saying is that at the moment, the question of me talking to him does not arise even though I still remain an active member of National Democratic Congress".

"I am doing what ever possible to ensure the party comes back to power in 2020", Major (rtd) Boakye Gyan therefore admonished the leadership to eschew rancour  and focus on the party's unity.
