2017 U-17 World Cup: Black Starlets coach Samuel Fabin relishing Niger test

Black Starlets coach  Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin has fired a salvo at Niger ahead their crucial round of 16 tie in the ongoing U-17 FIFA World Cup in India.

 The two-time world champions collected six points to finish top of Group A, and have been paired against fellow West Africans Niger in the round of 16 of the competition.

The match will be the fourth meeting between the two countries this year and the Black Starlets are looking to edge their Nigerien counterparts once again.

“Niger is a very determined side and if you look at the group, so it wouldn’t be that easy but we are prepared to sail over them and progress to the quarter-finals,” Fabin confidently stated.

“We’re ready for the battle we have psyched the boys because we’re in the elimination round so they have to be determined and the boys are ready to go the extra level.”

The highly anticipated match will be played  at Dr. DY Patil Stadium Navi Mumbai on October 18 at 11:30 GMT.
