WAEC releases Nov/Dec 2017 WASSCE results

The West Africa Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the release of the results of the 2017 West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for private candidates.

The Council has withheld the results of a total of 1,873 candidates who took the WASSCE for private candidates.

According to a statement issued by WAEC, the candidates are alleged to have been involved in various examination malpractices.

The council also cautioned the Public on the activities of fraudsters who contact candidates with the promise of altering their results for a fee payable through mobile money transfer.

The council added  that all forged results can be detected by the confirmation of the verification system.
