Agya Koo, Matilda Asare, others meet Nana Addo …

agyaaa-tKUMAWOOD STARS AGYA KOO AND MATILDA ASARE WHO PUBLICLY ENDORSED THE FLAG BEARER OF THE NEW PATRIOTIC PARTY (NPP), NANA ADDO DANKWA AKUFO-ADDO AT A PRESS CONFERENCE IN KUMASI ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 21 HAS VISITED HIM AT HIS NIMA-BASED RESIDENCE.

The two actors together with others were at Nana Addo’s office to officially inform him about their decision to campaign for him ahead of this year’s general election.

Nana Addo who was happy to receive Agya Koo and his entourage wrote on Facebook that “Popular Ghanaian Movie Star, Agya Koo, paid a courtesy call on me, at my Nima residence, this morning to formally inform me of his decision to support my candidature for this year’s elections.#ChangeIsComing”.

 

The flag bearer also communicated to the public what Agya Koo told him during his visit.

The actor, who is credited with reviving the local movie industry and several of his colleagues addressed a press conference on Wednesday, September 21, to declare support for the NPP flagbearer for the 2016 elections.

They cited the harsh economic conditions as the main reason for declaring support for the candidate who failed to win the presidency in 2008 and 2012.

Actor Agya Koo has met the presidential nominee of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo, at his Nima residence after he (Agya Koo) endorsed the three-time flag bearer on Wednesday, 21 September.

“I speak the voice of the ordinary Ghanaian who is bearing the brunt of extreme economic hardships which has come about as a result of poor leadership. I have personally sat back and monitored critically how things are going and felt the need to join the crusade for change in the political administration of this country,” he said at the press conference.

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo thanked the Kumawood Actor, Alex Kofi Adu, aka Agya Koo for his endorsement and gave assurance that we will not let Ghana his supporters down if elected into high office of Ghana,
