CHIEFS URGED TO DESIST FROM OPENLY DECLARING THEIR SUPPORT FOR ONE POLITICAL PARTY OR CANDIDATE..

The president of the National House of Chiefs, professor Wulugu Naba Pugansoa Naa john’s Nabila has Urged Nananom to desist from openly declaring their support for one political party or candidate of one political party or the other.
He disclosed that in accordance with the 1992 constitution, nananom are the fathers and mother’s of the people who belong to different political parties and they see them as such, and therefore when they declare their support for one candidate or one party they will be no more be seen as a father or mother .
He therefore appealed to all Ghanaians to make sure that there is absolute peace in the country before ,during and after the general elections,
He made this known to otec news at their End of session general meeting.
