Mahama to open Nkrumah Circle today
President John Mahama is expected to inaugurate the Kwame Nkrumah Circle Interchange today for use.
A statement from the Ministry of Roads and Highways said the Interchange is being opened so as to enable free traffic flow within that enclave.
The statement warned motorists to park their vehicles at only authorised spaces and urged pedestrians to use designated walk ways.
The Ministry also urged drivers of big trucks to, as a matter of urgency, observe the height restrictions when using the Interchange, and also tasked traders to transact business at authorised locations.
“Law enforcement officers would not countenance any encroachment on the aforementioned routes”, the Ministry warned.
The Ministry also warned that trespassers would bear any cost that would be incurred in removing them from unauthorised places.
