A disgruntled member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is blaming their defeat on the lackadaisical attitude of the National and Regional executives.
Alhaji Alhassan Tapsoba claimed the executives put their personnel interest first and syphoned party cash and resources into their personnel pockets.
Citing the Ashanti Regional Secretary, Raymond Tandoh as a clear example, the former Deputy National Director of Ghana Youth Employment and Entrepreneurial Agency (GYEEDA) in charge of operations said he is always drunk in the office.
“Raymond was always drunk even in the morning when you go to the office and you expect us to win?” he bemoaned.
Alhaji Tapsoba who was also the NDC Election Task Force said the executives turned a blind eye and a deaf ear to calls on them to change strategy in other to maximize votes in the Ashanti region.
He indicated that, majority of the party supporters especially in the Ashanti region are badly bruised following their failure to achieve their audacious target of securing thirty percent of total vote cast in the region.
It was evident, Alhaji Tapsoba said the executives were only deceiving President Mahama and NDC members about one touch victory in the polls.
