A/R: Construct Our Market – Market Women tell Gov’t
Market women at Agric Nzema are appealing to stakeholders , government , NGO’s and their chief Nana Nkansah Boadu for the construction of their market.
They expressed their grievances to OTEC News reporter Derrick Ekuoba Gyasi when he visited the scene, Outlining their problems they hinted that thief’s breaks into the market , steal their belongings at night making their stay at the market unbearable.
One woman said some people defecate at the market premises which according to her drives their customers away.
”We find it difficult to operate when it rains , we have made several appeals to the chief Nana Nkansah Boadu who has promised to construct the market but to no avail,”She added.
They are therefore pleading with the government to immediately come to their aid, especially as they head towards the rainy season because market activities always come to a hault when ever it rains.
