I won’t kowtow to pressure – Olympics coach
Head Coach of Accra Great Olympics Godwin Attram says he will not bow to pressure to quit after the club went six games without a win in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
The Wonder Club are firmly rooted at the bottom of the table after picking just two points from a possible eighteen.
The former PSV Eindhoven player has come under massive criticisms from various quarters for the club’s poor run.
But he insists he will not give in to excessive pressure from management and supporters of the club.
“I am a professional and I played all my football career in Europe for 20 years and my honesty cannot be taken for granted.
“Some people think I am arrogant and do not listen to advice. I want to be honest in this job, I am doing this because I can’t be a loser or lose for people to control me,” he told reporters after Sunday’s defeat to Accra Hearts of Oak.
“I want to be honest so if anyone feels because of being honest, I feel so big then I am sorry because that was the way I was trained and I believe that is what I am doing right now, I am doing things my way,” he added.
