Machomen storm Ashanti RCC; drags coordinator from office

Over 100 well-built men believed to be from the New Patriotic Party (NPP’s) private security Delta force, reportedly stormed the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council and attacked George Agyei who has been appointed as the regional security coordinator.

According to members of the party’s private security, they cannot work with the person appointed to take over the office beacuse he is a total stranger who has no track record as far as the victory of the party is concerned.

” We petitioned the Ashanti regional minister about this issue and he promised to carry our concerns to the president,” they told Otec fm.

The task force however stormed the office to stop him from carrying out his duty as a newly appointed head of regional security.

George Agyei was dragged out of his office ina violent manner but was however saved by police officers who rushed to the scene to maintain calm at the place.

He is now in the custody of the police whose timely intervention saved him from further harm from the angry members of Delta force security.
