We will Close Down Assembly if……..Ahafo Ano Youth Warn
Concerned Youth of Ahafo Ano South West constituency in the Ashanti region have vowed to resist any attempt by the Npp under President Akufo-Addo to appoint constituency chairman for Ahafo Ano South East Joseph Dapaah as the DCE for Ahafo Area.
In a Demonstration organised by the youth of Kunsu and it environs to protest the nomination of Joseph Dapaah on Friday, the youth outlined their reasons for rejecting the constituency chairman of the party as DCE nominee.
They alleged that Joseph Donko sold cars that belonged to the party, embezzled over 4billion from the assembly coffers and has no proper educational background.
Youth organizer for the group, Mr. Kwadwo Asare claims they are reliably informed that President Akufo-Addo is close to appointing Joseph Dapaah as DCE, a decision they strongly disagree.
“The man in question is corrupt and uneducated, i am sure Nana Addo will not associate himself with such a man” he stressed.
He added that they are poised to put the entire assembly on lockdown, should the man in question be given the nod.
”You promised to do what we ask from you when you were campaigning , we did our best to protect the ballot box which you asked us to do.”
”We spent our time energy and resources to bring NPP and Nana Addo to power , why are we hearing this unfortunate news of you appointing someone we do not need,” he querried.
