In Tarkwa, Medeama SC defeated Asante Kotoko 2:1 to end their winless home run against Kotoko in the Premier League.

However, Cosmos Dauda calmed nerves and sealed the win for the Phobians with a late goal to give Hearts a 4:2 win.
