(PHOTOS) Princess Anne visits Manhyia Palace

Daughter of Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Anne on wednesday paid a courtesy call on Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Mahyia palace in Kumasi.

Princess Anne who was accompanied by the outgoing British High Commissioner to Ghana, Jon Benjamin, discussed a number of issues bordering on the strengthening of bilateral ties between the two nations and enhancing access to education for children with Ghana’s president.

 

She also used the opportunity to expressed her heartfelt condolences to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II for the loss of his mother, Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem II, the late Asantehemaa.

The Princess was met by the Ashanti regional minister Hon. Simon Osei Mensah, his deputy Madam Elizabeth Agyemang, the KMA boss Osei Assibey and chiefs at the Manhyia palace.
