We wish no failure for Kwesi Appiah or Black stars – Hadziede

Deputy Sports Minister, Hon Pius Enam Hadziede has said that the Ministry does not wish failure for the newly appointed coach of the Black stars, James kwasia Appiah and will provide the needed support to ensure he succeeds.

According to him, the ministry has over the years supported foreign based coaches with everything needed to succeed but to no better results and as such would not deny coach kwasi Appiah the necessary things to excel.

” If kwasi Appiah is denied the needed support, it will seem like we have intentionally set him up to fail which is something we never wish for either the coach or the blackstars. we want Ghana football to improve.”

Speaking to Osei Akoto Kanu on Otec royal sports, Hon Hadziede explained that the meeting between the Sports ministry, Ghana Football Association (GFA) and Coach Kwasi Appiah was to officially afford the GFA the chance to introduce the Coach to the Ministers who will later introduce the coach to the president of the republic and then to Ghanaians.
