NDC Calls for Petitioners Heads Over Allegtions Against EC Chair

The National Democratic Congress (NDC)  will act on allegations in the petition brought against the embattled chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC) to call for the removal of some staff.

EC staff are supposed to be non partisan. …and if the petitioners are claiming that over fifteen staff of EC transferred were members of New Patriotic Party, we are also going to ensure they are fired”.
According to National Democratic Congress (NDC), communicator in the Ashanti Region, Prince Nyarko, it has become evident to the party’s leadership hence, a move will be taken to effect it.
“Reading through the petition filed by Concerned Staff of EC, we have identified them by their names and it will be simple for us to also petition for their removal”, he hinted  on Kumasi-based Otec FM.
The communicator took a swipe at President Akuffo-Addo accusing him of being bias to have responded to what he described as “bogus” petition filed by Lawyer Maxwell Opoku  Aggyemang on behalf of of the Concerned Staff  calling for the head of Madam Charlotte, Osei chairperson of the EC.
“The patriotitism in President Akufo-Addo now has faded out in forwarding the petition to the Chief Justice for action”, Prince Nyarko believes.
According him, the presidency has received several petitions in assumption of office but did not respond or act on them because they were against NPP members.
