Close down your ideological school and come for good governance tutorials – NPP tells NDC

The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has challenged the biggest opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to dissolve their Ideological School Institution and come and learn good governance from President Akufo Addo.

According to the Deputy National Youth Organizer of NPP Dominic Kwesi Eduah who to OTECNEWS’ Kwaku Anane Jr. said the NDC is claiming that the school will shape the party in the next future to ensure good governance however President Nana Addo is making a history in his governance so they should come and learn from him.

” for the NDC ideological institution I beg they say they want a good governance but good governance looking at what Mr. Akufo Addo is doing what good governance are they looking for they should dissolve it and learn, ” he stated.

“they should come and study Akufo Addo’s governance that will help them, ” he reiterated.

The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Thursday 10th August 2017 launched its ideological school known as the Ghana Institute of Social Democracy.

The school according to the party will inculcate its principles, ideologies, and values to members.

Speaking at the launch the General Secretary of NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah said the school will be helpful to the future of the party.

“In April 2017, the party’s school working committee, based on its previous report proposed the formation of the Ghana Institute of Social democracy as an institution of higher learning and research to train many party comrades and other interested stakeholders in the fundamental principles and philosophy of the party.”

But speaking to Otec FM’s Kwaku Anane Junior the hopefully ambition for the National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) they cannot acquire any knowledge concerning good governance in that institution and the best way to achieve their goal is to study from Nana Addo and close down the school.

Dominic Kwesi Eduah also eulogized Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo for the restoration of the Nurses and Midwives allowance because it will motivate the students to learn hard and acquire quality education.

“if you are a student and you didn’t get conducive mind to learn your studies will be in vein,” he said.

” so now that the allowance has been restored we have to thank the President because he has given the students motivation and moral to learn and acquire quality education to serve the Nation,” he stressed.

The previous National Democratic Congress (NDC) government scrapped the allowance in 2014, under which nursing trainees got at least GH¢450.00 every quarter.

But, during the 2016 electioneering period, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo promised to restore the allowance for the trainees to go through a smooth training to serve the nation.

President Akufo-Addo said at the official launch of the restoration ceremony in Sunyani that government was committed to fulfilling all the campaign promises made during the 2016 electioneering period.

He said the reinstatement of the allowance was important to government, saying that, it was not a mere political rhetoric and campaign talk.

According to him, President Nana Addo has brought truth in politics for redeemed his campaign promise of the restoration of the Nurses and Midwives allowance.

” We are thankful to the President because he has brought truth in politics, and whatever you do in truth earn good results. Nana Addo chose truth and it has become successful it is not a magic,” he added.

He stated that there were a lot of Graduate Nurses unemployment in the country but Nana Addo led NPP government are putting measures in place to clear the backlogs.
