I am ready to join ISIS -Dismissed cop threatens

Dismissed Police Lance Corporal Dickson Ankomah has threatened to join any group that will be willing to provide him his daily bread if the new police administration fails to reinstate him.

L/Corp Ankomah who passed out in 1999, began his service with the Police in Tamale as a bodyguard to the former Deputy Northern Regional Minister Mohammed Amin Adam.

He disclosed this during an exclusive interview with OTEC FM’s Isaac Nsiah Foster on Wednesday 16th, November at Bompata in Kumasi.

He explains that he was transferred to Nkawkaw after spending 8 years in Tamale, and attached to Motor Transport Traffic Department (MTTD).

The former Police officer also admitted knocking down a pedestrian with the Police dispatch motor bike one day on his way from Nkawkaw to Kumasi at a spot near Yawkwei community. He also admitted that he did not make an official entry in the Police dairy; a situation that led to his interdiction and consequent dismissal.

He said the incident occurred in 2008, and explains that he has since made all efforts to be reinstated but without success.

According L/Corp Ankomah, he is ever ready to join forces with any group like ISIS, Boko Haram Alqaeda, Al-Shabaab etc for the right price considering his financial predicament.

“If someone approaches me with money I will not hesitate to execute his agenda, even if it is ISIS because I am suffering. I don’t even have a place to sleep” he confided in OTEC FM’s Isaac Nsiah Foster.

The dismissed Police L/Corp. Dickson Ankomah revealed that he currently lodges with squatters at the Kumasi railway station and begs his former colleagues for money to buy food.

He lamented that, a lawyer who he had engaged to help him get reinstated has abandoned him due to his financial nosedive.

He is appealing to both Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mr. David Asante Appeatu and Interior Minister Ambrose Derry to intervene in order to ensure his reinstatement.
