Leaked Aduio: Wicked minded and fake role model Ofosu Ampofo must resign immediately –NPP Group

Action Patriots for Justice (APJ) a pleasure group in the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) is calling for immediate resignation of the National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, for explosive comments made by him in a leaked audio.

According to the APJ, Mr. Ofosu Ampofo must first apologise to the NDC and then the entire country as a whole for the unfortunate comments made in the leaked tape which sought to instigate NDC party supporters and members against well-meaning Ghanaians including President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Jean Mensa and the Chairman of the National Peace Council, Rev. Professor Emmanuel Asante.

“We believe the chairman must resign and the NDC must go out there and restore their rights to take part in the elections. If you listen to the entire recording, you would hear other supposedly responsible voices on that tape. People on that tape represent other spheres in government,” APJ said in a statement.

“We condemn in no uncertain terms the leaked audio of Mr. Ofosu Ampofo, church of Pentecost elder and a national Chairman of the NDC, who is clearly heard on tape, outlining plans to make this country ungovernable for the NPP and to unleash violence and bloody attacks on some targeted prominent individuals, APJ continued”.

“We implore the security agencies to put the leadership of the NDC under 24-hour security surveillance because Ghana cannot be a safe place to live when greedy bastards assume the office of political leadership“.

Background

The audio from a meeting held at the NDC’s headquarters after the scandalous Ayawaso West Wuogon by-elections heard a voice believed to be that of the NDC chairman stating his strategy to help the party regain power in 2020 by targeting certain persons.

Mr Ofosu-Ampofo on the said tape is allegedly heard telling party communicators that the NDC ahead of the 2020 elections is strategizing to launch attacks on some prominent personalities in the society including the National Peace Council Chair, Reverend Emmanuel Asante, the EC Chairperson Mrs Jean Mensah.

“For the first time, I will endorse insulting the National Peace Council Chair,” to cheers from the NDC Communicators.

He further stated that the Electoral Commissioner, Jean Mensah’s comments over the Ayawaso by-election incident was unpalatable to them, and hence they will “take her to the cleaners.”

He also told his people to launch similar attacks on President Akufo-Addo who is the Commander In Chief of the Armed Forces, urging them to do all in their power to paint him violent in the face of the international community, thereby discrediting his credibility.

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has invited Mr Ampofo to assist investigations into the content of the tape.

NDC is gradually degenerating into gangsters Association  with evil leaders who have purposed in their heart to take this country back to the dark days.

The growing desperation in the minds of the NDC leadership to take over power from the NPP by fair or foul means, is so alarming and egregious and what makes it more dangerous is the already planned wicked agenda to be executed by the NDC.

Action Patriots For Justice,(APJ) condemns  in no uncertain terms the  leaked audio of Mr. Ofosu Ampofo, church of Pentecost elder and a national Chairman of the NDC, who is clearly heard on tape, outlining  plans to make this country ungovernable for the NPP and to unleash violence and bloody attacks on some targeted prominent individuals.

It is ill and criminal intent, barbaric and a condemnable bad example that ought not to be encouraged or entertained and APJ is by this release calling on the peace council, the clergy, civil society and all Ghanaians to speak against and prepare to resist these nation wreckers whose agenda is to come to power through violence and bloody means.

NDC is a threat to the peace and stability of this country, a political party that  speaks and demonstrates violence as their stock in trade and have shown their preparedness to cause mayhem  and surround this country with an  air of melancholy.

We implore the security agencies to put the leadership of the NDC under 24-hour security surveillance because Ghana  cannot be a safe place to live  when greedy bastards assume the office of political leadership.

If a party Chairman with the mandate to work legally and legitimately to bring his party(NDC) back to power, will  deviate from his core mandate and result to Wicked and evil plan to throw this peaceful nation into a state of despair, create fear and panic and terrorise institutions for their selfish interest whether Ghana burns or collapses.

“WE will deliberately heighten tensions.

We will deliberately clash with the police and heighten tension just so we can do our thing”

What is more condemnable than this chaotic plan designed to cause havoc from a party that violently pride itself with violence and its related activities, with alacrity.
