Kotoko team’s driver roots for coach Pollack

Kotoko team’s driver Nana Berchie has observed that Kotoko would have done better if coach Pollack was still at post.

Nana Berchie who was the team’s driver before the bus run into a parked truck on the Nkawkaw-Kumasi highway while returning from Accra after a match against Inter Allies on July 11th 2017 has expressed his sadden gratitude after the sacked of formal head coach Steve Pollack.

“I was very sad when I heard coach Pollack have been sacked, He was a very nice person to me during our hospital days and all the players like him so much due to his composure.

I believe things would have been better if he was still at post because he has good rapport and positive mind for the players” Berchie told OTEC FM’s Sports Producer, Naasei Sikapa.

Berchie concluded that there haven’t been any insurance packages for him after the fatal accident.

“The bus insured but I haven’t received any insurance from package from Kotoko management after the incident” He added.

Nana Berchie is still receiving treatment and believes he will start work within the next six months according to his doctors.
