Patrick Razak’s Hearts of Oak contract renewal hits a snag over salary agreement

Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club speedster, Patrick Razak, has halted all contracts negotiations with the club as he demands for an improved salary, OTEC 102.9 FM can exclusively  reveal.

The much awaited contract extension came close to settlement when Hearts of Oak  submitted an improved offer  of GHC 30,000 a season, but negotiations have come to a halt after the sensational winger rejected the offered.

Hearts of Oak has offered to pay Razak a monthly salary of GHC 1,200 but the player and his representatives have turned it down, demanding more.

Razak’s contract is months away from  expiry and the Phobians are keenly sweating to get him to commit to the club before he turns free agent.

Razak, who reportedly earns GHC 2,000 from his Joy Industries  Ltd contract, is a target for Kumasi Asante Kotoko Football Club and could price him away if Hearts of Oak fails to meet his demands.

Patrick Razak played for premier league side Wa All Stars before joining Tamale Utretcht Academy where he left for Tura Magic, a Namibian top flight side.

He came back to Tamale Utretcht academy before leaving for Accra Hearts of Oak for the 2015–16 season.
