The Acting National Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has resigned from his position with immediate effect.

The firebrand NPP communicator, otecfmghana.com understands prefers to be with masses instead of being confined to office duties.

“I want to be with the masses. I cannot be sitting in the office and all the time meetings upon meetings and things are going wrong. The party leadership should understand me … It is not anger. The party should bear with me”, he told otec FM’s afternoon show ‘Dwabrem’ on Thursday, September 13, 2018.

In the view of Mr. Baafi who is known in the political circles as ‘Lawyer Adomako Baafi’, the new executives of the party should have made some appointments after their National Delegates Congress in Koforidua but to no avail.

He however denied that his decision was due to pressure from above as it earlier emerged that leadership of the party had planned to replace him.

He explains that being an ordinary member of the Communications team will give him some free space to monitor situations and reality on the grounds to keep the party in power for long.
