NDC inaugurate 13 c’tees for upcoming congress

The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has inaugurated 13 committees to oversee the successful organisation of its upcoming national delegates’ congress slated for 3 November 2018 at the International Trade Fair Centre in Accra.

Speaking at a brief outdooring ceremony on Wednesday, 19 September 2018, General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, charged the committees to do due diligence in the discharge of their mandate to ensure an incident-free event.

The 3 November congress will see the party elect national officers to steer affairs for a four-year term.

The event is a prelude to the congress for the election of a flag bearer for the general elections in 2020.

So far, over 100 members have picked nomination forms to contest for various executive positions during the congress.
