Adams Lottery CEO receives the Best Philanthropist award at Atwima Mponua

Adams Yusif, Chief Executive Officer of Adams Lottery in Kumasi

The Chief Executive Officer of Adams Lottery in Kumasi, Adams Yusif, has been recognized as the Best Philanthropist in Atwima Mponua district in the Ashanti region.

He was recognized for his selfless dedication to the infrastructural development of education in the district over the past few years.

For his recognition, he was rewarded with a citation, during the celebration of the 67th Independence Day Anniversary at Nyinahin on Wednesday, March 6, 2024.

The District Chief Executive of Atwima Mponua District Assembly, Hon Isaac Kofi Marfo, made the presentation on behalf of the assembly.

In the citation, some parts read, “In the past years, you have become a Pillar of support for the District Assembly. You have distinguished yourself in the areas of giving back to your community and are the epitome of a modern philanthropist.”

“In recognition of your immense contribution to education, you have built a 2-unit Kindergarten Block with ancillary facilities and renovated a classroom block for Sreso Timpom Presby A School, and your yearly supply of exercise books to every child in that community is highly appreciated and commendable,” it also stated.

The citation concluded, “In acknowledgment of your impact on the community over the years, Atwima Mponua District Assembly recognizes your good works, and we truly appreciate your fabulous and impactful work.”

Adams Yusif, after receiving the recognition expressed his feelings of honor, humility, and surprise, adding that “that will motivate him to give back to the community.”

He expressed his gratitude to Atwima Mponua District Assembly for the recognition and pledged his total commitment to improving the educational infrastructure in the area.

He used the platform to urge fellow natives from the district to also assist their communities in any way that would promote social progress in the district.

Adams Yusif, a native of the district’s Sreso Timpom, began his schooling there before relocating to Kumasi to further his career.
