Lowbed truck runs over driver; kills him in gory accident at Ejisu

A driver believed to be in his early 40s has met his untimely death after a low-bed truck ran over him at Ejisu in the Ashanti Region.

The deceased, who was only identified as Allegation, according to eyewitnesses, died after the truck ran over him, mutilating parts of his body.

The sad incident occurred on Thursday, July 31, 2025.

Speaking to OTEC News Reporter Kwame Agyenim Boateng, an eyewitness disclosed that the deceased was directing the truck to park well, but he was unfortunately run over by the same truck.

Police from the Ejisu Police Command have since taken over the scene, investigating the matter.

The accident has sent shock waves among residents, with many mourning the deceased.
