Tema Oil Refinery is back on its fee – Francois hails NAPO

Francis Adomako, Ashanti Regional Organiser for the New Patriotic Party (NPP)

The Ashanti Regional Organizer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Francis Adomako says the Energy Minister, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh must be commended for bringing the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) to business.

He noted that the Minister since his assumption of office had been working to get the critical state institution to refine oil into larger quantities as it did previously.

Speaking to the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper Tuesday, Mr Adomako said for about two months now the state entity has been refining fuel and had risen to its responsibilities.

This, he noted, speaks volumes about the Energy Minister who has carved a niche for himself to turn ordinary places into places of real action and vibrancy.

‘’I find it so exciting that Dr Napo has been able to turn a dying entity like the Tema Oil Refinery into a vibrant one where refining is ongoing despite the recent slow pace of work at the national asset’’, Mr Adomako posited.

SUPPORT:

The Regional Organiser called on the public to continue to offer support to the government to enable it to work out something good for the economy.

Currently, Mr Adomako noted that things were not easy for anyone in the country.

He said prices of commodities and food stuff were going up each and every day on the market.

This, he noted, has made things difficult for households but appealed for calm from the public for the government as it works to cushion the public.

‘’Things are not easy as some of us wished  but we can only be hopeful and support the government to work something out real soon to cushion us from the hardships associated with increases in foodstuff and petroleum products’’, Mr Adomako appealed.
