The match talks about week three game between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea, which ended in tears for a section of the irate fans.

Kotoko suffered their first defeat of the season, thanks to a good goal by Kofi Owusu and assisted, Jonathan Attoquaye.
Empem Dacosta was red carded in a circumstance most people at the stadium believed to be a wrong call from referee, Charles Bulu.

That much got the Kotoko fans charged and the game was halted for close to 10 munites, after some of fans started throwing anything they could lay hands on most especially plastic bottled water.

The match was restarted and Kotoko eventually lost by one nil but the angry fans converged at the mixed zone after the game waiting for the officiating officials.
Several appeals by the security men on duty to get the crowd take apart so they could escort the referees proved futile.

In an attempt to disperse the crowd, the policemen on duty resulted to warning shots purposefully to scare the crowd but they were fearless.

A stray bullet from a police officer hit a supporter[name withheld] but believed to be a Kotoko fan.

He was quickly rushed to the KATH with blood spilling all over his body.

Further checks from the emergency unit of the KATH revealed that he survived the gunshot to the disbelief of everyone who saw the incident.
