Akufo-Addo completes tour of Oti Region
President Nana Akufo-Addo on Thursday ended his two-day working tour of the Oti Region.
He visited Kete Krachi, Krachi Nchumuru and Dambai to inspect ongoing projects as well as commission other projects.
Amongst others, he commissioned the 64km Kete Krachi – Dodiokope road inspected ongoing work on the 15km Kete Krachi town roads and cut the sod for the commencement of work on the €15 million Oti Solid Waste Treatment Plant.
He also also cut the sod for the commencement work on the 8,000 seating capacity Regional Sports Stadium (Youth and Sports Centre of Excellence).
The NPP flagbearer also cut the sod for the commencement of work for the YEA Regional Office, all in Dambai, capital of Oti Region.
President Akufo-Addo also paid a courtesy call on chiefs in the region and held a meeting with the newly created Oti House of Chiefs.
He further engaged members of various communities in the region and asked them to give him the nod in the upcoming elections to serve as President for the next four years.
