ANOTHER SETBACK FOR INFORM SCHLUPP

What would have been a sensational new year start for Ghanaian international winger Jeffrey schlupp ended sadly just before the halftime break.

Schlupp gave Crystal Palace the lead just under 5 minutes after combining very well with fellow African mate Wilfried Zaha.

In the fortyth minute, schlupp suffered an injury suspected to be an ankle sprain.

Coach Roy Hodgson felt it was too risky to keep his winger going and called for his substitution. He was replaced by English international
Eberechi Eze who scored a classic solo goal to double Palace’s lead.

The Ghanaian international has made fifteen appearances with two goals and an assist in the premier league this season.

The extent of his injury is yet to be known.
