SIX STAR PHOPIA HUMBLES LEAGUE LEADERS

Hearts of oak’s quest to end their league title draught was given a massive boast by displaying a six star Performance on Saturday afternoon at the Accra sports stadium .

Hearts got the game underway against the league leaders bechem united and established their authority very early in the game.

Hearts exchanged passes and controlled the first half but failed to break the virginity of the game.

The major highlight of the half was the red card of Emmanuel Asante from Bechem united.

The second half got to a flyer when Umar Manaf put the phobians ahead just eight minutes after the break.

It was followed by a quick silver double by Victor Aidoo in the sixty-eighth and sevety-third minutes.

Head coach Kosta papic has really transformed his side that were struggling in the open weeks of the season under former coach Edward Nii Odoom.

Fredrick Ansah Botwey made it four from the spot before Black Star striker Prince Adu Kwabena pulled a consolation goal for his side.

Nigerien import Souleymane Lawali made it five and the icing of a very tasty cake was given by Benjamin Afutu Kotey deep into injury time.

This results mean Hearts moves to second place and relishing the dream of ending their eleven year draught of a league celebration.
