MTN Ghana launches 2021 Ashantifest Festival

Telecommunications giant MTN Ghana on Thursday September 9, 2021 launched its eleventh edition of the Ashantifest, one of the regional Festivals, designed to bring out the rich cultural elements in the Ashanti Region.

The festival which has become one of the major celebrations for the people of the Ashanti Region in the past 11 years do not only entertain but also help unite families and communities in the regions since its inception.

Speaking at the lauch at Hyiaeso in the Kumasi Metropolis, the General Manager for MTN Ghana, Norther Sector, Nii Adotey Mingle said the occassin is an annual ritual during which MTN hold various programs in customer based communities to appreciate their loyal patronage.

This year’s event Mr Mingle noted would be marked with a community football competition involving over 10 teams, MTN Pulse Hang Out which would be targeted at the youth, commemoration of international Literacy Day, Communities and Media Editor’s forum, 25th Anniversary Invitational MTN Golf Tournament among others

Nii Adotey Mingle added that the festival also seeks to engage the hearts and minds of MTN’s cherished customers, with innovative products and services as well as seeking feedback to enhance the company’s service delivery
