Kingdom Exim Group supports Farmers Day

As part of this year’s preparation towards the national farmer’s day celebration, Kingdom Exim Group has presented a dummy cheque for Gh 24,500.00 sponsorship package for the 2021 event slated for Cape Coast on Friday, December 3, 2021.

Kingdom Exim Group has once again honoured its promise to the annual funding of the Trees Crop Award category award which has been introduced to the National farmers Day celebration.

This year’s event has been christened: “Planting for Food and Jobs — Consolidating Food Systems in Ghana”.

Making the presentation on behalf of the Kingdom Exim Group Managing Director Mr. Immanuel Rajamani and the CEO who doubles as the Chief Chancellor of the India- Africa trade Council, James Rajamani on Wednesday November 24, 2021 by the Corporate Affairs Manager, Hon. Peter Mensah said the Kingdom Exim Group remained the most committed financial institution towards the growth of the agricultural sector in Ghana.

The National Farmers’ Forum provided the award winners the opportunity to engage stakeholders and policy makers from the Ministry of Food and Agriculture,Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture and financiers to deliberate on key issues related to the sector.

According to Hon Peter Mensah, the company led by its Revered Board, the managing director Mr. Immanuel Rajamani and the CEO who doubles as the Chief Chancellor of the India- Africa trade Council, James Rajamani has, however, resolved supporting our gallant in the tree crop development in the country considering the efforts and sacrifices exhibited in contributing to the overall development in agriculture in Ghana.

KINGDOM EXIM GROUP, has since 2015 has been adjudged the number one exporter of cashew and she nuts and the biggest producer of poultry feeds (BIG STARS)in the country. Other areas of its diversify areas are KINGS TECHNOLOGY, KINGS ENGINEERING KINGS TRAVEL AND TOUR AND the Basilea shipping line.

The Board commended the Ghanaian farmers and the government of Ghana for the collaborative efforts to make the Agric sector a resilient one for the mutual benefit of the industry players of the agricultural value chain in the country.

Peter Mensah again announced that, the company is taking the full cost of the National Tree Crop category award estimated at Gh 24,500.00, supply of 250 branded the national farmers day logo and the Kingdom Exim Group Pollo T-shirts and baseball caps and the erection of a giant bill board at the entry point of the city of Cape coast to cushion the government in her efforts to create more publicity and awareness.

The Deputy Minister of Food and Agriculture, Mr Yaw Frimpong Addo, who is also the chairman of the 37th edition of the national farmers celebration commended the board and the directors of kingdom EXIM GROUP for their determination and commitment to the Agric industry particularly on the tree crop which is the brain child of His Excellency the president of Ghana Nana Addon Dankwa Akuffu Addo. He charged other companies to emulate the shining example of KINGDOM EXIM GROUP.

Activities

The week-long programme will run from Monday, November 29, 2021, to Friday, December 3, 2021, when the grand finale will be held.

Aside the regional day celebrations, the award winners will be taken to tourist centres and some One-District, One-Factory sites to encourage the farmers about efforts to process their produce.
