Journalists in Kumasi paid to make NPP unpopular – NAPO

The Ministers of Energy Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh says journalists in the Ashanti Region region have been paid to rain insults on the ruling New Patriotic Party NPP and the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
“I have information of some journalists who have taking huge sums of money with a task to discredit the government”
“I dont understand why journalists in the region mount their micrphones to criticize the Akuffo Addo lead administration on their various media platforms knowing the massive infrastructural projects he has embarked on”
The member of Parliament for Manhyia South was speaking at the sod cutting ceremony of the four tier suame Interchange on Tuesday October 18,2022.
He however called residents in the region not to fall to any negative stories by the media on the Suame Interchange.
