Asante Kotoko Sporting Club yesterday trained on the Otumfuo Park at Dichemso in the Manhyia South Constituency

The park was constructed by Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh a.k.a Napo, MP for Manhyia South to help promote sports in his Constituency.

Arriving at exactly 1pm on board their club bus, the team lead by its Burkinabe coach, Seidu Zerbo undressed and prepared for their scheduled afternoon training exercise.

Praying together before formal training commenced, the players showed good smiles when they touched the ball on the astro turf.

CROWD:

Scores of residents and supporters of the club that got wind of the team’s presence at the park thronged the scene to witness the training.

Calling out the names of the players who they knew, the supporters intermittently cheered the team during the trading game.

Receiving the loudest cheers was the newest Brazilian import to KOTOKO, Matheus Dos Santos.

Every trick the Brazilian came up with was met with loud cheers.

IMPRESSION:

The team looked impressed with the pitch and occasionally stared at its quality.

The players took turns to look around the pitch after the training had ceased at 5pm and responded to cheers from the crowd.
