Ama Pomaa Boateng Upbeat Of 4th Term…Files Nomination In Modesty

Incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for Juaben, Hon Ama Pomaa Boateng on Sunday afternoon filed her nomination papers to firm up her decision to seek a 4th term to lead the constituency as the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for the 2024 polls.
Appearing at the party office after a brief moment of prayer with some enthusiastic party persons, the gracious looking female legislator was attired in a semblance of the NPP colours.
Wearing a red and white with a touch of light blue t-shirt, the ever smiling MP had a red pair of trousers to match as she walked majestically to the party office in a white pair of sneakers that lighted her way.
Presenting her forms to the Elections Committee Members, Hon Pomaa Boateng promised to abide by all the regulations governing the party’s internal contest especially the upcoming parliamentary primaries.
Secretary:
Receiving the forms and going through meticulously to ascertain the authenticity of the attached documents, Nana Adu, the constituency secretary announced that the MP had fulfilled all requirements.
He therefore asked that just as the MP had conducted herself well so far she does same from now till the primary in Juaben is over on January 27th.
Nana Adu, however, reminded the MP and the party members that the vetting processes would be conducted in Kumasi from the 3rd to the 5th of January 2024, adding that all aspirants would be given time and date to appear before the committee in due course.
“I, Nana Adu with the other members of this Elections Committee are happy to receive your forms and to commend you for how you have conducted yourself as MP and aspirant and we pray same continues so that we can have a smooth process leading up to the eventual election on January 27th”, the Secretary stated.
Determination:
Speaking to this reporter, Hon Ama Pomaa Boateng who is also the Deputy Minister for Communications and Digitalisation said she was upbeat about of her chances of securing a fourth time mandate from the delegates of the party.
She noted that the plan to develop Juaben into a modern community was still on course and that she is determined to continue to harness the human potentials and capacities of the people in Juaben to cause the change in the famous constituency.
Hon Pomaa assured that she would look for more avenues of employment for the youth as well as others while keeping an eye on them to have information and Technology skills (IT) to make life easier for them.
“I know a 4th term is possible because the delegates who have given me three terms believe i can offer more to the development of the community particularly the harnessing of the human capacities of the people in Juaben for a wholesome transformation of the ancient and historic town”, the MP posited.
