Delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Tano North constituency in the Ahafo region have assured the incumbent MP Hon Freda Prempeh of their votes in the upcoming parliamentary primaries.
The assurance was given when the delegates organized a birthday party for the MP to renew their commitment to ensure her victory in the primaries.
The birthday bash was held at Susuanho near Duayaw Nkwanta, and was attended by all walks of life.
Hon Freda Prempeh is contesting for the fourth time to represent the constituency in Parliament since she entered in 2013.
Presenting birthday gifts to Hon Freda Prempeh, the delegates labeled them as appreciation to the developmental projects she has brought in the constituency.
“To express our appreciation to the numerous projects in the area, we offer you these gifts as assurance of our votes during the parliamentary primaries,” they pledged.
“You have given us CHPS compounds, road extensions, classroom blocks, electricity extension, educational scholarships and others, and we believe that if have what it takes to do more,” they added.
The MP, Hon Freda Prempeh, receiving the gifts was short of words for the gestures, and was delighted that her works have been appreciated by the constituents.
“I really thank you for your support, all that I seek now is prayers, votes and I promise to do more for you and the constituency when given the mandate,” she soberly asked.
