Napo hails Bawumia’s integrity, says he’s not corrupt

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the running mate of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has defended his flagbearer against corruption allegations, asserting that his boss has maintained a clean record throughout his public career.

Speaking at the NPP manifesto launch on 18 August, Dr Prempeh emphasised that Dr Bawumia has never faced accusations or investigations related to corruption.

“In his public life, he has never been accused of corruption, nor has he been investigated for it,” Dr Opoku Prempeh stated. “I am confident that you are giving an honourable man the chance to continue leading. No matter what the critics say, he is not corrupt, has never been accused of corruption, and will never be corrupt.”

Dr Opoku Prempeh also addressed concerns about potential opponents, suggesting that those with questionable pasts should be cautious as Dr. Bawumia is poised to win the upcoming elections.

“We will fight from room to room, house to house, village to village, and community to community. Never again will we experience dumsor, and never again will money determine educational opportunities”, he stated.

“The day of accountability is coming for those with skeletons in their cupboards. We will work hard to ensure a better future for Ghana,” he added.

He also praised Dr Bawumia’s vision and mission to revitalize the economy.

“He is humble but firm, respectful, honest, loyal, and a problem solver. He is a man of integrity and destined to elevate Ghana to the next level,” he remarked.
