Video: Professor Gyampo’s past moral issues make him unfit for public university role – NPP Communicator

A member of the Ashanti Regional Communications Team for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Victor Owusu, has raised concerns about Professor Ransford Gyampo’s continued role as a lecturer at the University of Ghana.

This comes after Gyampo’s alleged involvement in a sex-for-grades scandal, exposed by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).

Owusu argues that Gyampo’s moral corruption makes him unfit to teach young Ghanaian minds.

Victor Owusu in an interview with journalists on Monday October 14,2024, emphasized that no serious university would employ someone who has engaged in such behavior.

Owusu’s comments were prompted by Gyampo’s accusations against the Leadership of Organized Labour, claiming underhand dealings with the government regarding the galamsey menace.

However, Owusu believes Gyampo’s past actions undermine his moral authority to engage in credible public discussions.

He has therefore called on the public to treat statements from Professor Gyampo with the contempt it deserves.
