The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has pledged to establish Farmer Service Centres in the Ejura Sekyere municipal district.
This initiative aims to support farmers with modern agricultural technologies and equipment, forming part of the NDC’s strategy to modernize Ghana’s agricultural sector.
During his campaign tour in Ejura, Ashanti region,on Saturday Mahama emphasized the significance of the Farmer Service Centre in transforming agriculture.
The Centre he noted will provide farmers with access to the latest farming technologies, equipment, and inputs, making farming more efficient and productive.
Mahama noted that the establishment of the centre would play a crucial role in reducing food inflation and lowering the high cost of living.
This promise aligns with his previous commitments to support Ghana’s agricultural sector, including the establishment of Agricultural Mechanisation Centres .
