The Assembly Member for Nyiaeso Electoral Area, Abraham Boadi, has endorsed Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as Asanteman COKA, for the position of Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party.
Mr. Boadi said he believes Asanteman COKA is the best candidate to unite the party and bring calm to its structures in the Ashanti Region.
According to him, the party needs a leader who can bring all factions together ahead of future elections.
The Assembly Member warned that the NPP will find it very difficult to mobilize the youth and the grassroots to work and campaign for the party if delegates fail to vote for Asanteman COKA.
He noted that grassroots support is critical to the party’s fortunes.
According to him, Asanteman COKA has over the years worked to unite the party and has built a strong grassroots base across the region.
He said this track record makes him the right person to lead at this time.
Mr. Boadi further stated that with Asanteman COKA’s relationship with the grassroots, bringing him in as the next Regional Chairman will bring good fortunes for the NPP in Ashanti.
He expressed confidence that his leadership will energize party structures from the polling station to the regional level.
He has therefore called on delegates to overwhelmingly vote for Asanteman COKA to lead the NPP in the Ashanti Region.
The NPP Ashanti Regional elections are scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2026.
