Raymond Archer has been confirmed as the substantive Executive Director of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), effective October 27.
The Board Chairman of EOCO, Mr Daniel Domelevo, confirmed the appointment, stating that Mr Archer officially assumed the substantive role on that date.
Mr Archer has been serving in an acting role since his appointment in August 2025 to replace the then EOCO head, Abdulai Bashiru Dapilah.
The confirmation formalises his leadership of the state agency responsible for investigating and prosecuting economic and organised crime, including money laundering, human trafficking and other related offences.
Mr Archer is expected to strengthen the Office’s operations and advance its mandate to combat economic and organised crime while protecting Ghana’s financial and economic interests.
