Imam commends Akufo-Addo for successful Hajj
Mallam Abdul Mumuni, Nkawie chief Imam has expressed satisfaction with this year’s Hajj which saw about 6000 muslims trip to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Islamic cleric commended the Akufo-Addo led government for what he described as a struggle free Hajj.
”I am satisfied with this year’s Hajj. The Chairman of the Hajj Board Sheikh I.C Quaye and the President deserve commendation for the manner in which the trip was organized,” Mallam Abdul Mumun told Otec FM‘s Isaac Nsiah Foster.
He therefore advised every Muslim to embrace the Hajj trip if the opportunity comes.
He noted that though there were few challenges, they were normal and not within the control of the national Hajj board.
A first time Mecca visitor Mallam Abdul Mumuni said the visit to Mecca has actually lifted his faith in the Islamic religion.
However hundreds of people gathered to welcome their respective relatives at the Kumasi Airport.
