Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, the Presidential Candidate for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), has announced plans to introduce a “Buy Ghana First” policy aimed at promoting local economic growth
This policy he noted will create employment opportunities for Ghanaian youth if implement successfully
According to him the policy will ensure that all state departments and agencies prioritize locally produced products over foreign ones, fostering an environment where local businesses can thrive and expand.
By doing so, Dr. Bawumia believes that local manufacturing companies will receive a significant boost, and the economy will benefit from reduced imports.
Addressing residents of Ntobroso in the Atwima Mponua Constituency of the Ashanti Region, Dr. Bawumia emphasized that this policy will create more jobs for the youth, empowering local businesses to grow and contribute to the nation’s development.
