Danny Opoku Antwi, the NPP-USA Youth Organiser has been decorated as the Most Inspiring Youth Organiser in Ashanti at the Career Excellence Awards (CEA) ceremony.
Popularly known in political circles as Danny, the NPP-USA Youth Organiser was honoured for his organisational skills and his ability to mobilise people especially the youth to undertake positive and life transforming tasks.
In a citation signed by the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CEA, Mr Kobina Crentsil said Danny Opoku has over the years demonstrated capacity to measure the impact of the youth and mobilise them for positive achievements.
“You are indeed an icon of instrumentation and measurement in your field of work and thus deserving of this meritorious award”, the citation conveyed.
Background:
Danny Opoku Antwi has from age 15 been involved in political activities especially in the NPP fold.
He has also been seen in most Youth empowerment programmes in communities within the Manhyia Constituency especially Ashanti New Town.
Having risen from the party’s ranks in Ghana and the USA, Danny Opoku Antwi has been the face of the NPP-USA Branch for decades and currently serves as the youth organiser of same.
With a generous spirit and a trait of good human relations, the NPP-USA Youth Organiser has been able to support most youths in his community with educational funds and job opportunities.

Speaking from his USA base to this reporter, Danny Opoku Antwi thanked the organisers for the honour.
He also commended CEA for the honour conferred on other persons they deem deserving of such.
Danny stressed that such initiatives encourage people to do their best for their communities knowing that their contributions to the welfare of people would be noticed and acknowledged in due course.
“I am humbled by the honour conferred on my modest person and I promise to use the positive influences God has given me to help others, especially the youth and the needy in the society”, the NPP-USA Youth Organiser stated.
