NPP Denies Release of Prof. Oquaye Committee Report, Labels Circulating Quotes as Fake

The New Patriotic Party has clarified that it has not released any portion of the Prof. Oquaye Committee Report to anyone, including its own organs.

According to the party, only one copy of the report was prepared and submitted to the National Council through the National Chairman and General Secretary.

The NPP in a press release signed by its General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong says it is still studying the report’s contents and will disclose relevant information if necessary, in the best interest of the party.

 Until then, any quotes or statements circulating purporting to be from the report are fake and should be disregarded.

The party believes these fake quotes are the handiwork of political opponents, particularly the NDC, aimed at achieving mischievous ends. The NPP remains focused on rebuilding and recapturing power in 2028 and beyond.
