Dr. Bryan Acheampong To Shake Kumasi, Climaxes Campaign at Heroes Park On Wednesday

In what political observers are describing as a decisive “mop-up” exercise, New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer hopeful Dr. Bryan Acheampong is set to converge with approximately 10,000 delegates at the Heroes Park in Kumasi this Wednesday.

The event marks the final stretch of the incumbent Abetifi MP and former Agriculture Minister’s campaign tour within the Ashanti Region, aimed at galvanizing support ahead of the party’s upcoming internal polls.

Strategic Gathering:
Speaking to the press, the Ashanti Regional Coordinator for the Bryan Acheampong Campaign, Papa Yaw Asare Bediako John confirmed that the rally will draw leadership and delegates from eleven key constituencies within the Greater Kumasi enclave:

Core Areas:
(Subin, Asokwa, Nhyiaeso *Oforikrom, Kwadaso, and Suame.

Northern & Southern Zones:
Manhyia North, Manhyia South, Bantama, Asawase, and Old Tafo.

The expected crowd is not limited to grassroots members; the coordinator emphasized a robust turnout of party stalwarts, including current and former MPs, MMDCEs, the Council of Elders, patrons, and electoral area executives.

Clean Sweep:
The campaign team expressed significant optimism regarding their performance in the Saturday elections.

Papa Yaw asserted that the strategy is designed to achieve a “clean sweep” of the Ashanti Region, citing Dr. Acheampong’s track record and his vision for delegate welfare as his primary strengths.

“Dr. Bryan Acheampong has marketed himself effectively, offering concrete programs that prioritize the welfare of NPP delegates and the broader Ghanaian populace”, Papa Yaw stated.

He added, “we are confident that this message will resonate, leading to a win this Saturday and a subsequent victory in the national presidential race,” Papa Yaw stressed.

Victory:
Beyond the Ashanti Region, Papa Yaw said the team anticipates a “landslide” victory in the Eastern Region and a strong performance across the remaining regions of the country.
