Veep Dr. Bawumia Joins Two Churches In Christmas Celebration

Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia today joined members of the Royal House Chapel and the Rev. Jacob Nantoma Presbyterian Church to give thanks to God as Christians all over the world prepare to commemorate the Birth of Christ.

In a sermon, the Acting Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rev. Dr. Victor Abbey while applauding government for the feat achieved so far said the church will not hesitate to criticize government when it goes wrong.

He said God has given each and every one a responsibility on this earth and will hold everyone accountable for good or bad deeds.

It was a joyous occasion when Vice President Bawumia and his entourage visited both churches. Vice President was ushered in with songs by the congregation.

The Apostle General of the Royal House Chapel, Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah stressed the need for all to wait for God’s appointed time as He alone is the author and finisher of our faith

The Acting Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rev. Dr. Abbey said God has given each soul a responsibility to impact lives. He said must prepare to appear before the Lord to account for their stewardship.

Vice President Bawumia expressed gratitude to the churches for their endless prayers during before and after the elections. Picking a scriptural reading from the book of Luke, Vice President Bawumia said says God’s gift to mankind through his son Jesus Christ reaffirms the enormous gifts that Ghana has blessed Ghana.

The Vice President was accompanied by the Communications Minister Ursula Owusu Ekuful, Board Chairman of COCOBOD, Hackman Owusu and Deputy Minister of Roads and Highways Anthony Karbo among other dignitaries. Vice President donated ten thousand Ghana cedis and 100 hundred bags of rice to both churches
