Dennis Kwakwa is now NPP’s Ashanti Regional Organizer
Dennis Kwakwa has been elected the Ashanti Regional Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) after securing a decisive victory in the party’s regional executive elections held on Saturday, August 15, 2026.
Kwakwa polled 525 votes to emerge victorious ahead of his two contenders, Raphael Patrick Sarfo, who obtained 263 votes, and Daniel Kwaku Mensah, who secured 135 votes.
The results show Kwakwa winning by a significant margin, with his closest contender, Sarfo, trailing by 262 votes.
His victory forms part of the new leadership emerging from the Ashanti Regional NPP executive elections, which brought together party delegates to elect regional officers to steer the affairs of the party in the region.
With 525 votes, Kwakwa secured more than half of the total votes cast among the three candidates, demonstrating strong support from the delegates.
His election is expected to place him at the centre of the NPP’s grassroots mobilisation and organisational activities in the Ashanti Region as the party works to strengthen its structures and prepare for future political engagements.
Kwakwa will now assume the responsibility of coordinating the party’s organisational activities and working with other regional executives to deepen the NPP’s presence and mobilisation across the Ashanti Region.
