The Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party NPP Odeneho Kwaku Appiah Asanteman popularly known as Chairman COKA says the first step for the party to win power is to forgive each other and unite for a common goal.
According to him party members may have stepped on each other’s toes during the recent internal regional polls but it will take genuine forgiveness to get a stronger party in the region.
He said this when the NPP in the Ashanti Region organized a Thanksgiving service on Sunday following successful internal polls.
“My prayer is we meet again and celebrate victory in the 2028 polls however this will be difficult without having a united front,” Chairman COKA said.
“We all need to learn how to forgive ourselves so for the sake of the 2028 polls let’s let go and unite for a common goal,” he added.
“In the course of the polls if anyone offended me or the other executives we forgive you and we are also calling on you to forgive us if we offended you in any way,” he stated.
He emphasized that the party’s goal is to win the 2028 polls adding that the Ashanti Region will do anything meaningfully possible to secure victory.
