The Ashanti Regional Executives of the New Patriotic Party, NPP, led by Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as COKA, have embarked on a thank you tour to churches they visited before the regional executive polls.
The tour, according to the executives, is to go back and thank faith groups and individuals who guided and prayed for them before the elections.
As part of the visit, the executives called on members of Glory and Hope Ministry International at Brofoyedru on Sunday September 27,2026.
During the visit, Apostle Sampson Adjei Berko prayed for the executives and urged them to serve with humility and honesty.
The team later visited the Ebenezer Miracle Worship Center at Ahenema Kokoben to thank Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Opambour Adarkwa Yiadom, Prophet One, for his prayers.
Speaking to OTEC News, Secretary for the party, Francis Adomako, said it was apt for the executives to recognize individuals and groups who supported their journey and show gratitude to them.
He stressed that the victory of the new executives was not only through political strategy but also through spiritual backing, hence the need to return and acknowledge the role of the church.
Mr. Adomako added that the leadership under Chairman COKA will prioritize unity, humility and hard work to strengthen the party in the Ashanti Region ahead of the 2028 general elections.
The thank you tour is expected to continue in the coming days, with visits to other churches and faith-based groups across the region.
