Number 12: 74 ‘Anas referees’ suspended
The Referees Association of Ghana (RAG) has suspended all referees caught on tape taking bribes in the Number 12 documentary by undercover journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
In a statement signed by its deputy General Secretary Kwao Sampson, RAG said it “wishes to inform all stakeholders of the game of football and the general public that the under-listed Referees, Assistants Referees and Retired Referees, whose names came up in the Anas Aremeyaw Anas exposé, have been provisionally suspended pending the final determination of their case by the Disciplinary Committee of RAG.”
